Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain is very common and can have many causes. From instability to wear and tear (arthritis)

The shoulder is a very complex structure. It is a joint made up of aa ball and shallow socket and is inherently unstable. It is kept in place by a many soft tissue structures and it has many nerves and vessels running near it. Thus, shoulder pain can arise from any of these areas. Some comon causes include:

  • Trauma

  • Instability

  • Arthritis

  • Infection

  • Bursitis

  • Rotator cuff tear

  • inflammation or calcification of a tendon

​

Diagnosis is based on a careful history, examination and investigations, Treatments include non operative interventions, such as physiotherapy, anti-inflammatories, injections and if necessary surgery.

Thursday: 6pm-10pm 

Friday: 6pm-10pm

Saturday: 10am-1pm

Sunday: Closed
